Social Media Manager and Strategist (2018)

Brother Smith Band

Brother Smith was highly interested in growing their engagement organically. We never paid for followers or for hollow engagements. In my first six months, I grew their organic followers on Facebook to 4,000: an increase of 50 percent. Instagram and Facebook engagement increased from beneath the hundred mark to several hundred engagements. I produced and edited video and photo content to keep fans up to date and coordinated with venues to promote our marketing materials.

In my time with Brother Smith, I ran social media campaigns for their album release, interactive giveaways and fan contests, and even won a Twitter engagement competition for the band to open for the University of Kentucky football homecoming game. Together we re-energized their branding.

Social Media Manager and Outreach Coordinator

The Glendale Street Fair (2018, 2019, 2020)

The Glendale Street Fair is an annual music, food, and local vendor event in Glendale, Ohio. The team at the Glendale Chamber of Commerce was looking for someone to take over their Facebook page and coordinate vendor outreach. In my role, I shot principal photography for their promotional materials online, scheduled engaging posts that highlighted our vendors, and organized outreach to hundreds of potential vendors.
